Not to be scanned for profit, not to be accidentally leaked or hacked, not be subject to ransomware attacks, and definitely not to be locked out because you uploaded a file that the service provider did not like.
And, we’re solving all these problems mathematically with the help of game theory and AES-256 symmetric key encryption.
Decentralized, Encrypted File Sync
Slik is a decentralized, end-to-end encrypted workspace. It enables you to backup/sync your files, or share them with a team to collaborate, while you maintain complete ownership of your data. Since data is stored on decentralized storage solutions like - Filecoin and Storj.io, only the private key of the user can unlock the stored data. More so, even we at Slik cannot remove access to the files that the user has stored using Slik.
In other words - Slik is simply a browser to the data stored on the blockchain. Using applications built on top of the Slik protocol, users can interact with the blockchain, while leveraging their own data.
